My Story

Welcome to Dent-de-Lion Botanicals, where we specialize in cultivating and selling a stunning array of flowers, including cut dahlias and tubers, and peonies. As the proud owner, Michelle Umrysz, I have dedicated over 35 years to the flower industry, and in 2020, I transformed a significant portion of my urban farm outside of Mystic, CT into a flourishing haven for these exquisite blooms.

I take great pride in my collection of over 1200 dahlias, featuring approximately 100 unique varieties. These vibrant and captivating flowers are a testament to my passion and expertise in flower farming. In addition to my dahlias, I also nurture 150 peonies, further enriching my diverse selection.
