Terms of service
No changes to orders can be made once they are placed. All sales are final.
An item placed in your cart does not mean said item is reserved. Be aware that an item in your cart may sell out before you are able to check out. Your order is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a number.
Please do not check the local pick-up box if you place a second order to void out shipping fees. If one does so, I will either A) Cancel your order or B) charge you for the additional shipping fee.
NEW INTRODUCTION: new introduction page states a limit of three. Please follow and respect this request. I feel this is pretty generous based on what other farms offer. Anyone going over the 3-quantity limit will have their orders canceled.
We offer single dahlia tubers guaranteed to have at least one viable eye, true to type and a healthy neck. Prices are for one tuber.
Buyer is responsible for shipping fees that will be paid prior to shipping. Buyer accepts the risk of lost, damaged, delayed, or frozen packages. If a problem arises, please file a complaint with the carrier.
We cannot be held responsible for poor storage practices on your part, weather, pest damage, poor growing conditions, plant performance or failure to exercise correct growing practices.
When you receive your tubers, please inspect the day of receiving them and contact us within 5 days if there are any issues, via email, at dentdelionbotanicals@gmail.com.
Any longer than 5 days and we cannot refund or replace.
If a product becomes unavailable, due to an unforeseen incident, you will be refunded. There will be no substitutions. This may happen due to a storage failure.
VIRUS PROTOCOL:
With regards to viruses. I thoroughly inspect each and every plant I grow. If anything shows signs of any of the multiple viruses, I will pull and immediately dispose of the plant. I do not test my plants due to the incredible cost associated with said tests.
ANYONE who says their stock is guaranteed virus free, may not be educated. Tests will give false positives dependent on several potential factors, including the time of infection relevant to test and location of specimen that is tested.
There is absolutely nothing keeping a bug from biting a healthy plant and infecting it immediately after a clean test result has been shown. Even plants grown through tissue culture can always be infected after the fact.
IF you plant shows signs of infection, if you feel you have a bug free environment and the virus came from us, please let us know. We can always work together to compare plants and figure out a path forward.
Same goes for leafy or crown gall. It can easily be transferred between plants. Dahlias are not the only plants that can harbor this bacterial infection, meaning the ability to come from outside sources other than dahlias is there. Please let us know if your plant/tuber becomes infected.
