Introducing my new Collarette, Lillian's Butternut, named after my Granddaughter. She was entered into many trial gardens in 2025, after growing her out four years. She garnered a high score of 87.6, with some individual scores of 89.5 and 88.5. Some comments from the judges......Had to fight the bees to judge, must have a higher pollen smell; Very prolific - good looking flower with long stems; Unique color; Beautiful bloom, would grow; Petaloids were always lighter, especially at the tips, giving good definition against the ray florets. I've tried to capture all her various shades and intricacies of her blooms, but photos really don't do her justice.
